Course description

The course program will introduce students to the history of the creation of a progressive eyeglass lens, the history of the development of designs and modern trends in the production of progressive eyeglass lenses. In theoretical and practical classes, cadets will get acquainted with the rules of selection, determination of refraction, marking, selection of frames and design of a progressive eyeglass lens. They will learn how to avoid adaptation problems, get acquainted with the most common causes of poor adaptation to progressive eyeglass lenses and measures to prevent poor adaptation.
